Using Events To Market Your Brand
Posted April 7, 2011
There is no better way to market your brand than to host an event. Whether it be an open house, a product launch or a simple thank you to your clients and suppliers, any interactive marketing is particularly effective. Having your target audience in your space, talking with you and your staff one on one in a more casual atmosphere, letting people experience your product in a new way, has benefits that cannot be measured.
We have had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients on just these types of events. The trick to such an event is to let the product/venue/marketing reason speak for itself. As important as food and decor and entertainment might be to an event, you have to make sure that everything is supporting your main goal. Otherwise, all is wasted. We have designed a variety of marketing events for clients that have worked perfectly to accomplish their goals. The following photos are from Lane Dermatology’s grand opening. Their building was calm and serene and we worked to match their amazing space with our displays.

Foyer of the Lane Building. All decor and floral was done by our staff to reflect the building’s calming atmosphere.
In the main waiting room, we set the large food display. Muted colors in the linen and the centerpiece let everything else in the room shine.
In the back of the building, an action station of fresh fruits and cheeses was set on their counter. Chef Mary was able to give a more interactive experience with the food once guests had moved through the entire building.
To give you an idea of how different a marketing event can be when you change the client, here are some photos of Phenix City Children’s grand opening. It is a pediatric center and everything needed to be fun and bright and they also wanted a jungle theme to match their decor.

Marketing events can take many forms. Just make sure that everyone involved is clear about what the final goal is and everything will fit together perfectly!
